Jupiter Uranus Journaling Questions and Astrological Natives

Journal on the below questions between now and July 2024, whenever you are having a crisis of meaning, need some perspective, or just want some self reflection time. April 21, when the conjunction is exact, is also a great time to journal on these topics.

For the purpose of this exercise I am defining belief as the Oxford English DIctionary does.

Belief: an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists. Beliefs can relate to religious, metaphysical, scientific, medical, social, political stances that you’ve held.

  1. What beliefs/philosophies/assumptions/religions did you inherit?

  2. How have those beliefs changed over time?

  3. What happened that made those beliefs change?

  4. What did you believe as a child that you DIDN’T inherit, they were unique to you? What helped you to sustain those beliefs? 

  5. What role has community played in changing or solidifying your fundamental beliefs and philosophies?

  6. What did your younger self hope to see in the world and your personal life?

  7. Of those hopes, what was realized?

  8. Where have you lost hope? AKA, where are you needing a new vision?

  9. What did you begin to believe 13 years ago? What philosophies, worldviews, perspectives or languages did you adopt then? And how did you come to those conclusions/beliefs? 

  10. What meaning have those beliefs given to your life?

  11. How have those beliefs changed over the last 13 years? What did you believe then that you don’t now? What do you believe now that you didn’t believe then?

  12. Imagine a friend asked you to explain life to them. What's the purpose of it? What are human’s roles in it?

  13. What convinces you that life is worth living? Why do you keep waking up and going to work and showing up in your relationships?

  14. What kind of community do you have around the things you believe? What kind of community do you need, but don’t have yet?

  15. What is an action step you could take in the next month to have more of a community of shared beliefs and values. 

  16. How do you respond when others question the rightness of your beliefs and perspectives?

  17. What about this response works for you?

  18. How do you want to respond differently?

  19. What practices best enhance your capacity to be curious with others, and compassionate with yourself? 

  20. What is one step you can take this year to engage more deeply with curiosity and compassion enhancing techniques?

  21. What is an adventure I have been wanting to go on, but have been putting off. How can I go on that adventure?

  22. Where do you want to be in your life in 13 years? Dream your BIGGEST, WILDEST, WEIRDEST, most spacious particular to you dreams here. Revisit this question repeatedly between now and July 2024

  23. What risks are you willing to take to bring that dream into reality?

  24. What is one action step you can take this week to move towards that dream life? (Now go put it in your calendar)
